I often find myself thinking about the ways that I invalidate my own feelings. I overthink on things that I feel deeply and strongly about in my heart, but I allow other things to make me doubt what I KNOW and what I FEEL.

The damage that you do to yourself when you invalidate your own feelings can be substantial. If you constantly ignore and cross your own boundaries, then how will you set and enforce them for other people?
Then think about all the feelings that our minds, hearts, and spirits give us to warn us, to teach us, to give us to grow? If you ignore them, think about all the moments where you won’t grow, you won’t learn, where you’ll fall into danger….
Your feelings occur for a reason, don’t ignore them. Lean into them and use them, trust them. Trust yourself.
Your feelings are valid. Tell yourself everyday, you have a right to feel what you feel. I have a right to feel what I feel.
