1. My body and health
I’m so grateful for my body and the physical abilities that I have. After my workout tonight, I was very grateful for my ability to push myself to a new level of strength. I’m often in awe of how much my body can do and I’m so thankful for it.
2. My friends
I think I sometimes take for granted how good it can feel to just talk to someone and just enjoy a laugh or a conversation with someone. I was able to do that with two of my good friends today and it really put me in a good mood.
3. My home
I had a moment today where I was cleaning and internally I was complaining about how I’m always cleaning and tidying up, but nothing seems to ever be clean. But I’m grateful for my home. Even when it’s messy, I’m grateful that I have a place where I can relax, be safe, and have the option to clean or not clean because it’s mine.
4. My daughter’s cognitive and emotional health
Every day I’m reminded of how fast time can go and as I watch my daughter grow and learn. She is so amazing. I watch her with nothing but gratitude in my heart because I have been able to see her grow from an infant into who she is now and she surprises me at how smart she is. Her ability to articulate her thoughts and feelings is something I am thankful for.
5. Time
Time is so precious and I think I get so caught up in wanting more time that I forget to appreciate what I’ve already been giving. This time that I have to blog tonight is something I’m grateful for.
