I love that emoijs are a thing because I find that if I didn’t know what to say, I would have the option to find an emoji that would say it for me. I admit I don’t use them a whole lot, but if my iPhone told me which emojis were my most used emojis, it would definitely be a tie between these ones: 😂🤣😊😌. I keep it light and simple in the emoji department because usually whoever I’m texting is going to get the full brunt of what I’m saying through my words. Any emojis I use are just an accompaniment to what I’m saying, but these are the ones I like to use most.

I love to laugh and make jokes so a lot of the conversations that I have over text never go without the laughing emoji. I personally prefer this one 😂 over this one 🤣, but they both make frequent rounds in my social media captions and text messages.

I like to use this one too: 🥴. I love the squishy/ embarrassed face, it’s probably my favorite one because it comes in handy for expressing my general awkwardness which definitely translates over text.

The other emojis I like to use are these smiley ones: 😊😌. Honestly, a large majority of the texting that I do is professional, which says a lot about my personal life, but I’m most often texting other teachers, parents, and sometimes students and I like to use the smiley emojis to make sure that I express as pleasant a demeanor as one can give over text. But even with my friends, I generally like to keep it light with my emojis and just let my words do the talking.
