We’re nearly there. It’s almost the end of the year and it’s natural to look back and reflect on all the time that has passed. I encourage you to reflect on where you were at the start of this year and where you are now. Think of three things that have changed for you.

So much has changed for me. I found myself doing things I’ve never done before.
I started running and what started as a random Sunday where I literally woke up and decided to run is now a goal to run my first marathon next year. In that, I’ve met new people, pushed my body to new limits, and built on my community.
I’ve grown in my faith and grown closer to God. I’ve tithed more, served more, read more of my Bible, prayed more, and sought out God more.
I’ve grown in my career with a new job, a new grade level, and new challenges that are forcing me to grow as a teacher.
Growth can be gradual, slow, but just because a seed doesn’t immediately grow into a tree, that doesn’t mean the growth of that sprout isn’t worth honoring.
Before you set new goals and forget about the seeds you’ve planted for the trees to come, take some moments and honor your sprouts.
